Our Transport client is searching for a well-experienced, dynamic, and driven Sales Manager to join their successful team.
Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification
Minimum of 5 years of Sales Management experience within a Transport/Logistics environment
Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
Experience in customer relationship management.
Experience managing and directing a sales team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Dedication to providing great customer service.
Ability to lead, coach, and mentor a sales team.
Self-driven and willing to grow and learn
Bilingual - Afrikaans and English
Manage sales team to achieve target budget.
Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
Mentoring of team members with regards to Sales methods like SNAP, Grid Map System
Management and enhancement of the sales process
Hiring and training reps, assisting in their sales, providing leads
Monthly reports: Sales, Trades, Base vs. New Billings, Projections, etc.
Weekly Reports to the
Defining sales and operations strategy
Presentations to large corporates and tenders
Attend regular Exco strategy meetings
Preparation of tender responses
Contract negotiations with the Legal and Operations department
Force efficiencies with the staff
Provide tools and implementation thereof to increase visibility and ease of reporting
Effectively communicate and coordinate fleet and teams in order to finalize all operations successfully.
To follow due processes when processing client orders as per ISO 9001:2015 and the Tracer system.
Enforce the disciplinary code of the company at all times.
To avoid and eliminate unforced errors resulting in financial write-offs
