Our client is looking for a Manager Risk Advisory on a 12 month contractArea: Menlyn Maine, Pretoria EastRoleWe are looking for a candidate with IT Governance, Risk Management, compliance audit and technology enablement background or affinity.The ideal candidate needs to be result orientated, resilient, creative, innovative, understanding and determined. What the job will entail day to day: IT ComplianceCreation, Maintenance of the Risk Management Framework and Policy in line with the NIST framework.Will be responsible for specific processes to support the implementation and execution of the compliance assessment plan, including the risk assessment process, monitoring compliance, preparing and presenting audit findings and recommendations and providing assurance of compliance to statutory/regulatory requirements and policies and procedures.Communicates results of compliance assessments to management and other stakeholders as requiredPrepares reports for communication to the Audit and Risk Committee where it is relevant to IT Assurance.Remains current with compliance and auditing best practice and legislation to advice on the analysis and review of a variety of areas in the business depending on the scope identified in any audit plan. Skills:Strong understanding of regulations relating to IT Risk.At least 3 years IT Risk or audit experienceSound knowledge of the NIST / ISO standards Qualifications:B Com/BSC Information Technology or B Com or related field of study;Certified Information Systems Auditor; / Certified Internal Auditor will be advantage ISO Certified Risk Manager ISO Lead ImplementerNIST Cyber Security Professional PR actioner or Work experience in NIST Framework Technical Requirements:Technical expert in specific area and/or industryDemonstrated project management skillBusiness acumenKnowledge of IT Risk, Compliance and Internal ControlGood communication skills, good report writing and presentation skillsGood command of English both writing and speakingHighly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging and dynamic work environmentDemonstrates strong ability to synthesize professional principles and standards Personality / Behavioral CompetenciesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong interpersonal and relationship building skillsMentorship and coaching ability with desire to develop self and othersStrong client delivery focusAdaptable, managing change and ambiguity with easeFocus on quality and riskProblem solving abilityDelivers high quality repetitive work product consistently with little need for escalation and minimal supervision
