Purpose of the role: To plan, direct and manage the assigned area of accountability, to maximize sales, increase GP and grow the customer base through innovative sales plans, as well as increase the areas sale outlet performance delivering on a world class customer centric service experiences, thus increasing service quality, visibility and regional awareness through multiple sales channels and sales enablement execution.
Tertiary qualification in Sales or Key Account management preferred
3-5 years’ experience in a Key Account position within FMCG/Electronic/Digital industry
High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Valid Driver’s Licence / own vehicle, or reliable mode of transport
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Business Development and execution
Develop the Areas functional plan aligned to the Account strategy, to enhance sales, increase GP and Sales Volumes and provide a world class sales/service experience to the company’s customers and DP`s.
Create an area promotional plan in alignment with the account plan in the direction of establishing and increasing sales activity in order to expand market
Identify and assess the potential for new and existing
Operational Management:
Develop and implement operational improvements and plans
Monitor and manage stock where requisite across the channels
Relationship Management & Compliance
Collaborate with Store Managers, interdependent stakeholders & trade partners within the sales channels to develop unique region-specific sales plan to improve markets share in all product
Compile and report on a consolidated Regional Performance across stores for regional analysis
