Job SummaryThe scope of technical work for this role has a focus on stormwater, providing drainage and runoff treatment skills working along-side our hydraulic modellers, undertaking all stages of water infrastructure design for stormwater across all modes of transport and in the urban environment.This is a role primarily, although not exclusively, focussed on New Zealand projects and providing support to our Auckland based water infrastructure team who is involved in delivering some of the most exciting, regional, national and international transformational infrastructure projects across wastewater, flood management, highway drainage, urban stormwater, irrigation, water supply, and raw water.Minimum RequirementsMinimum of 12 years experienceFundamental understanding of 12d design software advantageous.Good understanding of software such as AutoCAD, Culvertmaster, Flowmaster, HEC-RAS and an appreciation of other 2D and 3D dynamic water modelling software that could enhance efficient drainage design advantageous.Experience in the design of stormwater reticulation systems, culverts, stormwater treatment and management devices.Good technical understanding of Hydrology and Hydraulics.Familiar with New Zealand Transport Agency guidelines - advantageous.Has a transport or urban development project background advantageous.Able to use all Microsoft Office packages.Preferred QualificationsBachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalentPr EngWhat We OfferWe will give you the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
