What you’ll do:

  • Develop, implement, and mature a forward-thinking resiliency strategy, risk evaluation and capabilities across all content platforms and services; protect Sky’s services across markets and deliver positive customer experiences

  • Partner closely with Group CT&I and other Group Sky teams such as Technology, Resiliency, Risk, Cyber and Product to continuously mature CT&I’s resiliency posture, metrics, processes, and approach within CT&I.

  • Facilitate and drive projects within the overall Technology and Operational Resiliency portfolios from early stage of initiation to the final implementation. This will either be in the context of a workstream within an overall programme or a standalone project in the wider portfolio of the team.

  • Promote and raise awareness of Group strategies and policies; capture attention through awareness programmes to simplify continuity concepts and embed a business continuity mindset in a constantly changing environment.

  • Collaborate closely with our Service Management, Incident management and Crisis management teams to grow our continuity capability, supporting continuity planning and playbook development for key crisis scenarios across our services.

  • Test capabilities through exercising, identifying critical gaps in response capability and close them, ensuring Sky’s standards are met 

  • What you’ll bring:

  • Experience and a keen interest in improving & establishing processes as part of programme delivery, and can operate across multi-platform, multi-organisation, and complex technologies.

  • You will have a pragmatic results and strong delivery-oriented mindset, with a track record of having facilitated project delivery. We want people who have delivered initiatives from start to finish and have experienced all phases of a delivery lifecycle ideally within a technical environment.

  • Innovative strategic and tactical thinking, with confidence to challenge traditional approaches and to create and foster improvements and innovations across a programme.

  • A flexible leader with strong team working and collaboration skills to build relationships and influence across teams, and multi-task across a very dynamic environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication / presentation skills with the ability to interface at all levels and credible in front of senior stakeholders including explaining technical concepts simply would be desirable.

  • A self-motivator with energy and drive for continuous improvement and a focus on delivering results

    Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
