The Project Associate will be responsible for providing strategic initiative support primarily within the strategy function of the Fulfillment Center of Excellence (FCOE), but also to the cross-functional teams as needed. Primary responsibilities include analyzing business data, reporting metrics, building management, and vendor management. Other responsibilities include assisting workflow processes, event planning, and accounts payable. The Project Associate will be expected to design high-priority (and confidential) projects, describe business performance and strategy through different communication channels. communicating policies and safety protocols appropriately with visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Design and distribute communications on behalf of management
* Data preparation for reporting on key metrics and goals
* Evaluate business operations and identify performance improvement opportunities and provide insights and recommendations to leadership
* Ensures required business documentation (such as KPI reports, vendor information, accounts payable information) is executed and stored correctly; helps ensure office and team compliance with established requirements.
* Assist with organizational events for the Wilmington office through event management, scheduling, and "on-site" event management
* Communicate data analytics and interpretation, and the handling of confidential information
* Manage special projects and work across business units as needed
* Actively motivates the team to work together in the most efficient manner. Celebrates team success.

Other Duties

* Represent Wolters Kluwer by developing and maintaining comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of Wolters Kluwer products, industry trends and general business and financial acumen through various sources and initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned by the management team.
* Answers and routes phone calls to appropriate departments, and assists visitors, while adhering to all Wolters Kluwer safety protocols.
* Receives and logs all incoming packages and distributes them to proper department.
* Corporate filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, document retrieval etc. as requested by management.
* Mail room support (i.e., sorting and distribution), as needed.
* Ensures operation of office equipment (i.e., scanners, printers, etc.) by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
* Maintains supply of office inventory (i.e., paper, coffee supplies etc.) by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, and placing and expediting orders for supplies.
* Provide administrative support to a matrix leadership team that ensures the efficient operation of the office, such as submitting vendor invoices for payment, scheduling annual inspections (i.e., fire water sprinkler etc.), setting up training rooms for training and or meetings organizing catering services when needed.

Job Qualifications:

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in business preferred or equivalent related administrative experience preferred.

Experience:

* Two years of demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications
* Written and oral presentation Skills
