Clinical Psychologist - Idaho Falls, ID

Inpatient Psych Solutions (IPS), is looking for a self-starting, experienced, licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team. You will be providing consultative services at  for their oncology and trauma patients. The core qualities we look for in the ideal candidate include demonstrating high ethical standards, possessing the ability to operate independently, and being passionate about providing the highest quality patient care. 

EIRMC services patients in Wyoming, North Dakota, Montana, and Idaho areas. The facility's clinic houses an adult burn ICU, dedicated burn OR suite,  and . EIRMC has been designated as a  with a team specializing in traumatic wounds and injuries for patients with more severe wounds. The burn ICU is equipped with six dedicated beds and state-of-the-art technology operated by specialized physicians and nurses trained in critical care and burn medicine.

IPS is a GA-based healthcare organization that provides behavioral health services to local healthcare facilities including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and nursing homes. Founded in 2019, we are in an exciting growth stage with multiple expansion opportunities in the near term and opportunities for growth and leadership within the company.

This position is a full-time role with the opportunity for the applicant to generally manage their own schedule and provide flexibility. Compensation will be competitive and based upon hours worked. If full-time employment is desired, options are available.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and coordinate clinical treatment plans related to individual, family, and group psychotherapy
  2. Conduct various psychological assessments, including test administration, interpretation, and treatment recommendation
  3. Management and completion of the patient caseload in the specified area
  4. Record and input detailed patient notes into an electronic medical record system while developing or maintaining treatment plans in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams
  5. Collaborate with the IPS care team to ensure a comprehensive approach
  6. Supervision of practicum, medical students, interns, and post-doctoral fellows

Requirements:

  1. Completion of Doctoral Program from top-tier college/university in Clinical Psychology
  2. Active license as a Ph.D. or PsyD with requisite state eligibility
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. High degree of analytical ability to manage multiple services
  5. In-depth knowledge and experience in individual, group, couples, and family psychology
  6. Experience in psychological testing
  7. Experience in medical trauma preferred
