You will be responsible for providing high quality, compassionate care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with the standards of professional nursing practice and in the role as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA). This involves engaging in a wide range of activities related to ethics, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality improvement, leadership, collaboration, professional practice evaluation, resources utilization, environmental health, and patient advocacy. Must have Breast pathology/imaging experience. Previous Breast nurse navigator strongly preferred.

Job Qualifications:

* 6 or more months of clinical nursing experience
* Ability to assess social and educational needs of the patient with breast disease - preferred
* Ability to cover all areas of radiology
* Ability to delegate tasks and promote leadership and teamwork
* Ability to educate patients, families, and staff regarding patient care issues
* Ability to implement and evaluate interventions
* Current and valid California RN license required.
* Experience navigating patient treatment plans and working with other breast subspecialists - preferred
* Familiarity with breast imaging modalities and breast procedures - preferred
* Knowledge of available resources and support for the patient with breast disease - preferred
* Knowledge of benign and malignant breast diseases and pathology - preferred
* Previous ICU or IR/Cath experience
* Proficiency in completing physical assessments and developing a plan of care
