Description

The Maintenance Manager is the support arm to the Terminal Manager and Operation Manager. The Maintenance Manager ensures schedules are followed, records are maintained and workflow proceeds smoothly and efficiently in the facility. On a daily basis will meet with the Operations Supervisor and Operation Manager to review daily plans, prioritize work and discuss the logistics involved to perform the desired work. It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Manager to ensure all work is performed safely, all required parts and resources are available and all paperwork is properly executed.

Position Requirements

* Ensure the maintenance team has required tools, parts, and resources to perform their job effectively and safely• Support the Operations Manager when implementing systems, schedules and procedures, and communicate these initiatives to the maintenance team• Provide comprehensive training, and recognize the individual and team accomplishments• Ensure all individuals receive compliance training• Develop and implement a safety-meeting for maintenance and actively participate in facility safety drills• Oversee all contractor work on site to ensure the contractors comply with facility standards and procedures• Maintain paperwork and records, while following written procedure• Schedule to minimize disruptions and redundant work• Inspect completed jobs for quality assurance• Respond to unplanned operational and maintenance events• Plan and budget maintenance activities to work within the O&M monthly budget• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work process• Diagnose operational problems and recommend corrective action• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program• Take on additional responsibilities as directed by the Terminal Manager• Work with the management team to establish goals, priorities, and expectations, and to help develop the action plans and strategies for accomplishing themAlso:Valid Drivers License or ability to obtain is required.Ability to obtain and maintain MTSA Security clearance is requiredAbility to obtain and maintain TWIC is requiredMust be familiar with PLC and their applications (Allen-Bradley). .Advanced training in Electronics, preferable related to Gottwald programming.Must be conversant in PC software applications (MS Products).
