EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A typical background would include any combination equivalent to: an A.A. degree or higher in a health related field, including or supplemented by typing, computer record management and general office practices and two (2) years of paid nursing experience in a clinic, medical or student health facility. CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse License, First Aid and CPR certification. Catheterization and blood borne pathogen training may be required and provided by the District. Failure to attach the required documents by the deadline date will result in an incomplete application.

WORKING CONDITIONS: School health environment; subject to exposure to communicable or infectious disease, emergency medical situations; heavy lifting and moving physical disabled students.

OPEN TESTING - Open to employees of the District and the public with the selection process resulting in one (1) Eligibility List that will be used to fill current vacancies and any future vacancies that occur within one (1) year. Current permanent employees of the District will be awarded seniority points as per the contract. All properly completed applications will be reviewed and the most appropriately qualified individuals will be invited to continue in the selection process.
