Description: A full time position with benefits providing crisis stabilization, clinical needs assessments, case management, and brief psychotherapeutic inventions with children, adolescents and families in crisis with urgent or emergent needs. Services are primarily home/field based and provided in collaboration with Emergency Screeners and longer-term providers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Provide immediate follow up to crisis/urgent or emergent needs for children, adolescents and families.

+ Provide assessment to determine recommended treatment and referrals to appropriate providers.

+ Provide intensive clinical case management in collaboration with WCMHS programs, other Washington County agencies and educational settings serving children, adolescents and families.

+ Provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions for children, adolescents and families in the community or office-based settings.

+ Coordinate referrals to longer term service providers.

+ Provide discharge planning for children and adolescents in acute care facilities.

+ Provide crisis consultation to treatment providers.

+ Maintain case records for population served.

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

+ Therapeutic experience working in crisis intervention.

+ Experience in home/field-based services

+ Excellent case management skills

+ Participation in and facilitation of treatment team meetings.

+ Clinical interviewing and assessment skills, both oral and written.

+ Be reliable, on time, flexible and able to work as a team member as well as independently.

+ Possess excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

+ Paperwork on time is a must.

Qualifications: Master's Degree with relevant experience preferred. Experience working with children, adolescents and families in home-based settings preferred. Must have safe vehicle and clean driving record. Must be willing to work into the evening hours 1-2 days per week with flexible, independent schedule.
