About the role:


Work from home (Adelaide) or South Australia surrounds and reporting to Customer Equipment Service Manager Australia, this role is responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and training on the complete range of Sealed Air packaging equipment. Carry out emergency breakdown repairs on our customer’s Sealed Air equipment. This role will also contribute to equipment sales and proposals, material and equipment audits, systems applications projects and competitor analysis. The primary responsibility for the position is to service Sealed Air customer’s within South Australia. However, interstate travel is required to support the business throughout Australia.


Key Job Responsibilities:


Supervise the installation/commissioning of Sealed Air equipment into the customer’s packaging plant.
Maintain the equipment servicing requirements and reporting of all Sealed Air equipment within allocated responsibility.
Manage the emergency breakdown repairs to customer’s equipment.
Customer invoicing for servicing equipment and spare parts.
Conduct material and equipment audits with the Sales Department.
Develop a strong customer service relationship to expand our existing equipment and service business.
Control the spare parts stock and manage the service tools kits for your allocated state responsibility.
Strict compliance to Sealed Air OHS policy including: - Risk Assessment, JSA’s, SOP’s, JSRA’s etc.
Prepare and distribute customer service reports for all service work undertaken.
Maintain and update all record systems relating to our customer’s equipment.


About the person:


Has A grade electrical license and excellent mechanical aptitude or Mechanical fitter with a restricted license who is prepared to further their electrical qualifications.
Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or service-based industry.
Demonstrated equipment installation experience preferably with packaging machinery.
Demonstrated mechanical ability.
Ability to work in a sole charge position.
Able to work flexible hours and days which will include weekends on a roster style basis.
Prepared to travel away from home on a regular basis.
Proven communication skills; both written and verbal.
Computer literacy is essential especially with word and excel.
Product knowledge of packaging materials and equipment is desirable.
