This is an exciting opportunity to develop business applications and data warehousing solutions crucial for the success of Allianz Personal Injury business in Victoria.
You'll be responsible for:
Working closely with business stakeholders to capture requirements and process improvement opportunities to enable them to meet business challenges and KPIs.
Developing and maintaining wide-ranging web-based applications using modern tools such as Python, Django, Java, etc.
Developing and maintaining a SQLServer-based Data Warehousing platform that supports advanced business analytics. Creating effective data models and developing efficient ETL processes.
Identifying opportunities to continually improve application development practices that results in better efficiencies and end user experiences.
Creating supporting documents, such as user guides, data dictionaries, wiki pages, etc. in line with AAL requirements and standards.
Important to your success:
Knowledge and understanding of web-based application development framework.
Experience in building and maintaining web-based applications using Python, Django, Java and VB .Net.
Experience in building and maintaining SQLServer-based data warehousing solutions using tools such as SSIS and SSRS.
Knowledge and understanding of data modelling (eg. Data Vault) and database design principles.
Proficient in SQL.
Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.
Highly developed problem-solving skills, combined with a curious and creative mind-set.
