Location:

Perak Region

Primary Objective:

Manage Affluent-Focused branch which cater for affluent / high net-worth individual customers with specific banking needs including investment advisory
To engage, manage and address the financial and banking needs of local communities such as SME, Corporate, trade associations, government agencies, local council & committee, local social centres, school/learning centres and etc.
Provide leadership and management to the branch sales and operations teams to deliver the annual sales growth target, branch MOP/PBT
Responsible for all loans/financing, wealth, bancassurance, deposit products and capital market products, particularly investment products

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

Develop, implement and manage the branch sales and operations plan to achieve the branch target
Lead and manage visitations and engagements with local communities
Jointly organize sales activities and campaigns with Regional Sales Heads and marketing teams to promote Bank’s products especially Deposit, Wealth and e-Banking and to engage and grow local SME/commercial/corporate customers

Sales Management

Set, review and communicate sales targets to all levels of staff across the branch
Review weekly sales targets/activities and identify the need for coaching and direction to ensure targets are met
Maintain awareness of competitor activity and industry best practices
Ensure cross selling (consumer to SME/HNI and vice versa) and deep selling (customer PHR) and product neutral selling (between conventional and Islamic products)
Approve quality credits as per approving matrix
Develop and maintain network of business contacts, especially Affluent & HNI customers

People Management

Promote the core values of the Bank
Empowered to hire, propose promotion and termination of staff, propose salary increment and adjustment for staff as per HR approving matrix
To adequately train and develop branch staff

Customer Service Management

Ensure clear customer focus across the Branch to produce high standard of customer service in line with the quality and standards set by the Bank
Resolve customers’ complaints and attend to requests in a timely manner

Compliance

Ensure that there are no adverse reports from the audit findings of the branch
Ensure compliance to the policies and procedures set by the Bank
Requirements
Requirements:

Bachelor Degree - Any related field(s).
Professional Banking Certificate
Minimum 6 years of working experience in branch banking
Strong understanding of all loans/financing and deposit products across retail and capital market, particularly investment products
Strong leadership, relationship building skills in all customer segments, especially handling Affluent/HNI customers
Good written and verbal communication skills (local knowledge & dialect speaking would be advantage for SME business)
Reasonable good credit knowledge
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
