This role plays an important role in establishing the internal controls framework, SOX compliance under RGC umbrella. A critical role for our journey to IPO. 


The successful candidate will lead the team in studying the current framework & policies, devising a plan to align to the regulatory requirement & implementing the various RGC framework organization wide.

Role: Head of Risk, Governance andCompliance
●Responsible for the overallmonitoring, developing, implementing and coordinating Company’s overallcompliance & governance activities to align with Company’s overalldirections and business development initiatives


●To build up comprehensive andfeasible internal controls for CARRO


●Conducting and overseeing internalreviews or audits periodically to ensure that compliance procedures arefollowed and propose process improvements to increase effectiveness andefficiency


●Form & implement SOX 404 tosupport IPO directions


●Work closely with externalconsultant for validation to ensure meeting SOX 404 compliance requirements100%


●Work closely and lead discussionswith external auditors and regulators to ensure work performed internally canbe leveraged


●Ensuring and verifying that allregulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, andcommunicated.


●Set up reference point to businesswhen comes to any compliance/regulatory issues


●Collaborate and trainbusiness/process owners on control implementation, execution, and maintenanceof the control environment


●Build working relationships withprocess owners and key stakeholders in various departments, to increaseawareness of the importance of mitigating risks and implementing controls.


●Identify and assess the potentialrisks to which the Company is exposed to


●Develop the Risk ManagementFramework that is fit for purpose


●Build on a strong risk culturewithin the organisation at both staff and Board level


●Provide active coaching, guidanceand support throughout the organisation to effectively implement the Risk ManagementFramework


●Conduct, identify and report tothe Executive Management on key risks and emerging risks arising from the businessunits or through strategic risk assessments


●Monitor the impact of the Board’sbusiness planning on the risk management framework


●To strengthen CARRO internalcontrols, work closely with cross functional teams, stakeholders to supportbusiness-led initiatives and projects


●Provide value-add and feasiblerecommendations to improve / rectify the economy, efficiency or effectiveness ofoperations in view of the existing resources without hampering the dailyoperations.


●Conducting or directing theinternal investigation of compliance issues.


●Ad-hoc audits, fraudinvestigations, process improvement initiatives, and other projects as requested


●To supervise and coach an auditteam with sufficient qualities and capabilities


●Stay abreast of contemporaryindustry practices and knowledge


●Informing, educating, and training employees on matters that areassociated with regulations and industry practices.
