We have much room for improvement and many ideas that will further shape the industry.As one of Ninja Van’s fastest growing New Business Units, the Ninja Direct business looks to redefine upstream logistics for SMEs by providing an end-to-end service consisting of procurement, supplier management, shipping, customs clearance and financing services to our customers. The Ninja Direct business has experienced triple-digit growth consecutively over the past 3 years and we are looking for an SME Sales Assistant Manager to join us in the next chapter of our growth story.As an SME Sales Assistant Manager , you will play a critical role in driving the growth of the Ninja Direct business by managing a team of rockstar sales executives. You will also work directly with senior management in crafting the country's commercial strategy that enables the business to achieve its targets.

Roles and Responsibilities


Collaborate with management on driving Ninja Direct’s SME sales strategy.
Develop a keen understanding of our key customer segments and their business needs to drive customer value and market competitiveness
Ensure productivity of the SME sales team through daily tracking of activities and performance.
Ensure that the SME sales pipeline remains healthy by ensuring that all opportunities are being followed up upon.
Develop sales executives’ understanding on key sales frameworks and important product knowledge
Hire, train and groom sales executives into top performers and future leaders.


Requirements


At least a Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable University
Minimum 3 years in a sales, sales management or business development role
Proven track record of managing successful sales teams
Strong knowledge of sales pipeline management and B2B sales
Experience using CRM software e.g. Salesforce
Knowledge on international logistics and freight forwarding preferred
Strong in communication and problem solving
