    Pulse Anaesthetics is a leading medical specialist practice that is committed to providing the highest quality service and is at the forefront of its field of expertise. They now have an opportunity for a Medical Administrator to join their team.

    About the role:

    In this full-time, permanent Medical Administrator position will you provide administration support to the anaesthetics rooms and ensure all patients receive exemplary customer service.

    Duties:

  • Calendar and email management

  • Data entry of patient information

  • Providing information to patients in relation to fees

  • Collection of prepayments

  • Receipting of payments

  • Liaising with health funds, Medicare, surgeon’s rooms and hospitals

  • Manager general questions and appointment enquiries 

  • Skills and experience:

  • Intermediate MS office skills

  • Efficient and systems savvy

  • Experience in managing a high volume of calls is desirable 

  • Fast and accurate data entry skills

  • You will have a calm and personable demeanor

  • Display an excellent phone manner

  • Proven administration experience

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Highly organised
