Insurance Sales Representative

A Insurance Sales Representative is responsible for acquiring new targeted business, retaining and expanding client relationships, demonstrating expertise as a risk and insurance advisor, and acts as the premier risk consultant on the high-performance team (HPT).

The ideal Insurance Sales Representative must have excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills. Our ideal candidate will also exhibit our core values, vision, and code of conduct.

No Insurance experience needed-looking for growth driven individual who can learn what it takes to be an insurance producer!

Essential Functions:

  • Develop prospective sales leads through using Account Based Targeting and Discounted Funnel system.
  • Prospect in multiple channels including but not limited to:
  • Networking, Email and Phone campaigns, Center of Influences, targeted calling and stop-ins
  • Thought Leadership activities such as articles, cross selling, speaking engagements, niche associations, and community events etc.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with underwriters and key market contacts relative to vertical and marketing strategies for new business and renewal negotiations and opportunities.
  • Works with prospects and existing clients to collect information and determine insurance needs, insurance coverages, and risk management plans.
  • Commit to becoming a subject matter expert in one or more of our niche industry verticals and stay current on industry trends
  • Work collaboratively to create solutions for business leaders and their organizations
  • Works independently to generate business to provide insurance needs
  • Maintain CRM systems, databases, schedule and calendar of core activities etc.
  • Learn and utilize our core technologies including CRM, Microsoft Office software, etc.
  • Holds self and team accountable for meeting WA service standards & customer expectations to retain business
  • Provides guidance to service teams when identifying and solving complex issues.
  • Deliver and present proposals?along with professional recommendations to clients
  • Travels as needed to perform essential functions?and meet client needs
