APS 6 Communications - Baseline clearance minimum
An APS6 Media and Communication Officer is accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex communication, media and issue management work within an integrated workforce. They are accountable to ensure they have knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and the Department's mission and policy requirements.
An APS6 Media and Communication Officer will work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of outcomes of their work. They will exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures. They will provide detailed communication, media and issues management technical, professional and policy advice in relation to complex work and contribute to strategic planning, program and project management and policy development.

3. APS 4/5 Business and Recruitment Officer
As the APS4/5 Business and Recruitment Officer you are accountable under broad direction to perform operational, administrative and business support work.
You will be responsible for a broad range of activities including Human Resources, data Management and general Administrative duties including:
Assist in recruitment activities for APS positions.
Ensure smooth on boarding and Off boarding of new APS and Contractor staff including Preparing and processing candidate on boarding documentation
Providing support in managing the APS and workforce through drafting requests for additional staff and assisting on various human resource processes and policies.
Advertising roles using eRecruit, APSJobs
Assisting with candidate enquiries during the selection and on boarding processes
Accurate data entry and good attention to detail
Contributing to process improvement initiatives
Engaging with stakeholders and line areas
Liaison with key internal partners such as security team
4. A Medical/Psych Admin Officer at the APS4,5 or 6 level in Recruiting as they can modify the tasking to the person's capability however an APS5 is certainly the happy medium. Baseline at least. Located at Fairbairn.
Centralised coordination and synchronisation of candidate medical and psych records. Demonstrated project management skills to drive the project under the leadership and guidance from the Chief Psychology Officer and Chief Medical Officer.
Responsible for tracking correspondence and filing candidate case documentation. The ideal candidate will need to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and be able to respond positively and demonstrate flexibility to emerging priorities. The candidate will require Base Line Security Clearance, the ability to utilise multiple IT systems within the Directorate (Examiner - training will be provided for Examiner), to ensure accurate data management and record keeping process. Any additional capacity would be used for administrative support in the medical team.
5. APS 6 FOI guru
The successful candidate will engage with applicants, Department's network of Accredited Decision Makers and across government to prepare timely, accurate decisions and provide comprehensive advice.
You will work collaboratively and balance competing priorities whilst working to strict legislative timelines.
Prior knowledge and experience working in FOI, HR policy, Code of Conduct, or privacy related areas is ideal, but not essential.
Looking for someone who is reliable, can use common sense to solve problems, make evidence based decisions and can work diligently.

2. APS 4/5 for Army Embed Team
Experience in records management
Proficient in Objective, TRIM or similar records management system
High level of attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
Some experience as a supervisor of small teams
Ability to complete general admin task
3. APS 4/5 Business and Recruitment Officer
The following skills and experience are highly desirable, but not mandatory:
Current or recent recruitment, resourcing or HR experience.
Demonstrated resilience and proven capacity to work in a team environment where there is a high volume of work.
Demonstrated proficiency using IT applications and systems such as Microsoft Office
Experience using a recruitment system such as eRecruit would be an advantage.
