Key duties include:

  • Perform purchasing/importing function including issuing of purchase orders on vendors and handle relevant correspondence
  • Arranges necessary shipping documentation and expediting purchase orders
  • Schedule, reschedule or cancel purchase orders as usage warrants, to maintain optimum stock levels to meet business requirements and to maximise inventory turnover
  • Review shipping documentation to ensure it complies with purchase orders, and work closely with logistic providers
  • Follow up of purchase orders to ensure shipments meet planned requirements. This includes direct contact by phone to accommodate time zones
  • Work closely with the Logistic providers and 3PL Warehouse
  • Participate with the Main Distribution warehouse stocktake process.
  • Profile

    The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally 1-2 years in Planning or Procurement
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficient on MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional and "Can Do" attitude to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Flexible and willing to learn.
