Join the Infrastructure and Personal Technology team as a Scrum Master, where you will care about how the team is functioning and performing, hold responsibility for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum meetings and increase the team’s efficiency, while motivating the team, arguing for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness.
Your focus will be on building a high performing team, with your ability to coach the team consisting of varying levels of Agile experience. You will join with the responsibility of guiding the team in how to use Agile principles, methodologies, and common practices to delight customers, while organising and facilitatating the regular scrum team ceremonies and activities e.g., daily stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives and other related ceremonies. You will understand and help individuals and the team achieve their key motivations, career objectives and personal improvement needs, and coach them to be self-organising and high performing.
The role will see you assessing the Scrum maturity of teams and coaching them to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for them, while using metrics effectively to continuously improve quality and performance and coach the team to achieve it. You will work closely with the team and other scrum masters to understand progress, dependencies, impediments to help achieve great client and team outcomes, along with assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information in a way that manages stakeholder expectations and demonstrates how the team is improving and growing.
You will ideally bring the following experience:
a strong team player who knows what it takes to be a servant leader.
3-5+ years’ experience in a Scrum Master role in Agile delivery teams
solid understanding and experience of Agile methodologies and common practices including Scrum and Kanban
excellent facilitation, communication, and mentoring skills.
good interpersonal skills and ability to connect with the team, manage conflicts, influence and manage stakeholders.
financial Services and Risk Services (nice to have)
