About us

Formed in 1999, Naturelinks Landscape Management has a commitment to the principles of conservation, biodiversity and community involvement.

On the whole, we manage indigenous landscapes and work within remnant bushland and ecosystems. We operate from four depots at North Melbourne, Werribee, Whittlesea and Mornington.

We have extensive bushland management knowledge, a sound and rapidly growing customer base (government, semi-government and private organisations) together with a team of over 100 people.

Purpose and scope

We currently have a position available for a part time administration assistant to undertake support roles in our business. The position is permanent part-time, and based in our North Melbourne Depot, which is close to public transport. There may be opportunities to work from our other depots (Mornington and Werribee) once per week.

Duties include:

Using computer systems and programs to accurately enter data and maintain business and training records.
Assistance with record entry and ensuring records are correct.
Performing secretarial functions such as organising meetings, taking meeting minutes.
Maintaining supplies of uniforms, PPE, etc and ordering stock for replenishment as necessary.
Liaison with our IT staff over minor issues.
Assisting with recruitment - recording and shortlisting applicants.
Assist with onboarding staff on HR and OHS web-based platforms.
Onboarding staff with uniform, PPE.
Provide support to various departments and personnel as necessary.
Assisting with deliveries and pickups on occasion to crews or remote depot.
Other admin support as required.

Ideally the candidate will have experience in the conservation management, landscape or construction industry.

Strong IT skills are necessary, particularly with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Please Note: A driver's license essential is essential for this role.

Working hours are flexible, which may suit persons with school age children, or the semi- retired. It is envisaged the position would be for three to four days per week. There will be opportunities for the position to grow.
