Drive Services Growth for Resource Industries (RI) Delivering the Parts STU (Sales to Users) business plan in conjunction of growing POPS and achieving RI Areas of Focus Targets to capture the lost opportunity. Most importantly, the job will require acute customer focus at mine site level and strong proximity and coverage (along with dealer) via implementation of key initiatives and projects designed to deliver added value and enhanced customer experience.
This position covers Southern Africa District territories.
Accountable for achieving Sales to Users Business Plan and growing Caterpillar Parts Market Share in designated territory and with each designated dealer.
Accountable for executing key aftermarket initiatives (, CVA contracts, demand planning, Prioritized Service Events, connectivity) with business partners for designated dealers.
Travel at least 50% of the time to visit dealers and customers to gain more insights into the business and to provide counselling and advice on their aftermarket business.
Develop and manage merchandizing programs and related budget with designated dealers to generate incremental growth.
Develop and manage commercial strategies and tactics with designated dealers to drive overall business and generate incremental growth.
Develop and maintain effective internal partner relationships and relationships with managed account managers, dealers, and customers to achieve parts sales growth.
A completed 3-year qualification in related field will be advantageous
7 – 10 years prior experience in field assignments and have demonstrated the ability to work independently and to communicate effectively with others in the work group, dealer personnel and customers.
Ability to work on increasingly more complex assignments and provide direction to lower-level reps on project assignments.
Must have Mining Industry experience and knowledge, as well as Aftermarket experience in the Mining Industry.
Must be fluent in Mandarin.
Must have prior experience in project management, sales & marketing.
