Supply Chain Management Clerk: Logistics Management



Minimum Requirements

Grade (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification).RecommendationNone.Key Performance Areas
Render asset management clerical support: Compile and maintain records (e.g asset records/databases); Check and issue furniture, equipment and accessories to components and individuals. Render demand and acquisition clerical support: Update and maintain a supplier (including contractors) database; Register suppliers on LOGIS or similar system. Render logistical support service: Place orders for goods; Receive and verify goods from suppliers.
Competencies
A good understanding of the following: Supply chain duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collecting statistics; Legislative framework governing the Public Service; Work procedures in terms of the working environment); Interpersonal relations. Skills in the following: Written and verbal communication; Proven computer literacy; Planning and organising; Ability to work in a team.
Remuneration
R per annum (Salary level 5)
