If so, we invite you to explore the possibility of joining us to play your part in Desmond Tutu Health Foundations exciting future.The purpose of this role will be to support the smooth implementation of studies by providing day-to-day administration activities including the purchase and procurement of study equipment and materials, complete all petty cash related forms and ensure that all petty cash required is available for studies, oversee study vehicles and work close with driver.Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 with National Diploma e.g. Office AdministrationAt least 1-2 years experience as an office administrator; preferable in a research or NGO environment At least 1-year experience in purchasing and procurementKnowledge of financial and accounting principlesExcellent Computer literacy in Ms Office (Intermediate)Excellent verbal and written communication; proficiency in EnglishStaff management experienceExcellent planning and organising skillsAttention to detail and good numeracy skillsProblem solving skills and solution drivenExcellent work standardsClient focusExcellent Decision-making skillsAbility to multi-taskAbility to work under pressureAbility to work independently and as well as part of a teamAbility to build interpersonal relationshipsAbility to work methodically, efficiently and meticulouslyAble to work on weekends (Required to work on Saturdays; substitute with week days)Willingness to work across communities in Philippi Village and GugulethuAdvantageous: Working knowledge of SAP financial systemA valid code 08 Drivers LicenseExperience in bookkeepingResponsibilities:Day-to-day financial and purchase administration for the research siteProcessing purchase requests on SAPFollowing up on deliveries with suppliersStocktakingCollecting and capturing staff timesheetsManaging and maintaining documents of the purchasing processManaging projects assets by informing Asset Coordinator of purchase and movementCo-ordinating and managing of weekly/monthly petty cash processesOrganising space for participant sessionsGeneral administrationStaff managementValues fit: Passion Innovation Progress Integrity Respect ExcellenceSubmit CV, motivation letter with certified copy of highest qualification and details of three current contactable referees by 28 July .
