Chocolatier


Our client in the FMCG industry is looking for a Chocolatier to join their exciting team.

DESCRIPTION:

A Chocolatier uses chocolates and makes candies and confections out of it, their skills are demonstrated in these candies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing food products using recipes and ingredients.
Designing and making a variety of products such as chocolate covered strawberries or truffles.
Tempering all kinds of chocolates using various skills.
Performing various tasks like designing, packaging, and wrapping of confectioneries.
Training junior staff, handling supplies of raw materials.
Assisting with chocolate production, and completing all other tasks as given.
KEY SKILLS:
Creative and artistic abilities,
A vision to create a profitable business using chocolates,
Ability to carefully handle and pack goods,
A good knowledge about the history of chocolates,
Moulding techniques, chocolate decoration, cultivation, and flavour chemistry.
QUALIFICATIONS:

2-4 years retail experience and background in Chocolate Confectionary industry

Basic Chocolate education under the belt.

An apprenticeship with a Master Chocolatier advantageous.
