Estates Administrator

Opening, drafting, liaising and registration of all estate matters
Liaise with the clients cordially, telephonically, or physically
Attending to receiving and sending of all faxes, emails, associated with transactions
Consultation with all parties and heirs and obtain all documentation required for the reporting of the Estate to the Master’s Office
Attending to all Letters of Executorship and/or Letters of Authority from the Master’s Office, or following up where necessary
Attend and placing of all section 29 Advertisements, writing to all creditors of the Deceased, obtaining valuations for the deceased estate, where necessary
Drafting all Liquidation and Distribution accounts in the respect of the Estate, lodging the L&D account with the Master’s Office
Obtaining approval for advertisement in terms of Section 35
Attend to work in progress daily and diarize necessary follow-ups
Communicate with all heirs or other parties concerned relating to estate matters
Send weekly/monthly progress reports to all Estate Agents, Mortgage Bond Originators, Bankers, etc.
Attend to the Finances related to the transaction after registration
Attend to all Tax assessments relation to the estate account in respect of SARS
Attend to all aspects relating to Estate Duty in respect of the estate, dealing with Capital Gains Tax, where necessary
Assist with new Wills and Trusts
Must Have:
Related Tertiary Qualification would be advantageous 
Min 3yrs experience in similar role
