Paid Media Manager

With a portfolio of more than 27 unique brands, we are the worlds largest provider of specialist travel with a range of outstanding experiences, from private jets, polar expeditions, educational travel, sailing, and much more.As the Paid Media Manager , collaborating with the wider Digital Marketing team, you will help drive our paid search performance and strategy to the next level. You will develop and implement the strategy and roadmap of continuous optimisation and growth, which will drive a significant part of the new customer acquisition across Sunsail and The Moorings.We are open to both hybrid and fully remote working for this role, and if you are located close to Cape Town we can offer access to our Waterfront office.What you will be doing Working across the Yachts division (Sunsail & The Moorings), you will be responsible for crafting and driving long-term strategic growth from the paid search and SEO channels. handling the PPC accounts in-house to implement efficient performance across multiple search engines and device typesCollaborating closely with key search engines and other partners to identify, explore and test new opportunities and ensure the business is at the forefront of innovationRunning global paid search accounts across multiple international domains to ensure campaigns are planned, implemented and optimized in line with business strategy and priorities, and handling a media budget, improving, reporting and forecasting on the return on investmentBudget planning across the Marine brands, leading account bidding strategy at both a keyword and campaign level through your internal teamLeading continuous ad-copy testing working with regional teams, using the available formats and testing tools across Google and Bing/Microsoft, together with landing page testing working with the CRO team to run AB tests to improve conversionDeveloping a team of PPC and SEO specialists to help run and deliver all paid search and digital media activity and plans, ensuring their meeting and exceeding performance objectives, whilst supporting and facilitating career progressionProviding in-depth reporting, analysis and insight to collaborators, highlighting the commentary behind actual and forecasted performance, and providing insight on any variancesInitiate and lead the creation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to aid optimisation, and help with wider digital marketing and business communication, strategy and planningWhilst the focus of the role is on SEO strategy and paid search channel management and optimization, you will also identify, develop and test opportunities across other paid digital media channels and platforms e.g. digital display, paid social, video etc. including making recommendations on channel opportunities, approach, measurement & attribution, expected returns/benefits and budgetsWhat we are looking for A proven understanding and prior experience in a similar PPC managerial role within a global business. With hands-on experience in leading and optimising paid search accounts and campaigns, either in-house or within an agency.You will be a leader in PPC management, able to bring fresh ideas and industry best practices to get the most from our marketing activity and investment. Experience in setting, and leading paid search strategies, as well as both manual and automated bidding approaches, is highly desirable. As well as, experience in using Google AdWords (& Editor), Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics and Excel.You will be commercially focussed, understanding how to use data and insights to drive improved returns and enjoy building relationships, articulating your paid search vision. Although the key focus of this role is in the Paid Search space, knowledge of leading and optimizing SEO, digital display, video and/or paid social channels would also be highly beneficial. Experience gained from a high-growth, multi-channel B2C retail, leisure or travel business would be beneficial.If you are self-motivated and driven, with a passion for making sense of data and analytics, and a desire to progress your digital marketing career within an innovative and entrepreneurial travel business, this could be the right job opportunity for you!
