The Kaplan Inc. Communications team is looking for a part-time Communications Intern to help with various communications and social media tasks. This position is a part-time, paid internship with flexible weekly hours. Potential tasks may include, but are not limited to: administrative duties, ghostwriting, and editorial planning.
  • This hybrid opportunity is based in New York City, with occasional in-office attendance**
Primary Responsibilities
  • Help to curate/organize photo, video, and digital asset collections
  • Help to manage event/editorial calendar
  • Create and post content to social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Brainstorm and identify relevant employee, customer, product and other stories to share on social media and internal communications channels
  • Provide project management and research assistance as needed
Education & Experience
  • College junior, senior, or recent graduate.
  • Preferred degree in or studying journalism, communications, marketing, English, or a related field.
  • Self-motivated and has a learning attitude, ability to manage and complete multiple tasks, determined, flexible, independent, organized
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop and Premiere), strong knowledge of various social media platforms
