DMA Health Strategies (DMA) is a small, nationally recognized behavioral health policy and planning member-owned consulting firm. We seek a Research Analyst who is skilled in managing multi-faceted projects, detail-oriented, organized, and possesses excellent communication, writing, computer, and analysis skills. Individuals must be able to work independently while staying coordinated with the team for each project. Working in teams is essential to DMA’s success. Responsibilities include:

This position will give the employee broad exposure to behavioral health policy, programs, and management. We are closely involved in assisting our clients with planning and implementing new forms of organization and service delivery, such as responding to the opioid crisis, addressing health inequities and social determinants, and crisis response during the COVID pandemic.
Requirements: DMA understands that there are many paths to acquiring experience, and that lived experience provides invaluable skills and abilities. We welcome candidates from diverse and nontraditional backgrounds for this role, including those who have demonstrated transferable skills to carry out the major duties outlined in this job description.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Tableau, NVivo or equivalent qualitative data analysis platforms, and statistical software (i.e., SPSS, STATA, SYSTAT, or similar). Experience with focus groups, interviews, Google Data Studio, Google Analytics, MailChimp, SurveyMonkey and Access a plus. Master’s degree (preferred) and/or 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
