Job Objective: To ensure achievement of sales targets in the assigned area by guiding the field force to implement marketing and sales strategies effectively and create a favourable image of the organization in the eyes of the customers and industry.

Key Responsibility Area:
1. Support in Sales Strategy
Facilitate / guide Sales Managers to gather market intelligence, analyse collected information and provide input to Marketing team
2. Sales Management - HCPs
Validate and approve from time to time the SVL to ensure efficient coverage of the territory. Constantly monitor the coverage of HCPs and provide feedback to the Sales Manager to ensure desired level of SVL coverage and call average
Meet core customers on his list as per the coverage and call average norms to maintain customer relationship and generate desired business returns
Carry out joint field work to ensure optimum implementation of strategies in the clinics.
Cover all SVL HCPs of his Sales Manager as per stipulated frequency / timeline
Manage vacant territories through regular HCPs/chemist visits to ensure continuity of relationship and generate desired results
Monitor performance of each territory, analyse deviations and develop action plans to bridge performance gap during joint working / review meetings
Support the RSM in developing territories & new markets by implementing action plans
3. Sales Management & Supply Chain
Ensure availability of new products at stockist and act on liquidation of slow moving / near –expiry items through regular interactions with the stockist
Support the Sales Managers in managing difficult stockists
4. Reporting & Submissions:
Ensuring timely submission of (for self) and validation / approval (for team) as per frequency / process stipulated by company:
Monthly Tour Program
Daily Call Report
Monthly performance feedback
All other documents/details required by the company from time to time
5. Stakeholder Engagement
Recommend HCPs for participation in CME, RTM, AD-Board meetings conferences and other activities in consultation with the SALES MANAGERs
Execute all engagement activities like CME, conferences, CEP etc. by working in collaboration with Key Account Manager and Sales Manages to ensure all activities as per marketing strategy are successfully implemented
6. People Management
To observe on-job effectiveness of Sales Managers and coach for improvement in identified areas of development.
Deliver Induction programme for new Sales Managers
Identify high potential candidates and develop them through coaching, on the job projects etc. Identify weak performers and highlight them to the KAM to ensure focused development of the identified
