Job Description
Reports to Senior Manager: Projects portfolio management Summation Responsible to support the administrative, secretariat and reporting of the Postbank project investment portfolio in line with the Postbank prioritisation of its strategy and corporate plan Key Responsibilities • Ensure that all PMO secretariat and administration functions are performed as planned, ProCapex, PreVetting, PMO meetings and other committee are planned and actioned accordingly. • Support in the management and reporting of critical initiatives, the post implementation reviews and return on investments (ROI) indicators. • Ensure that CAPEX / OPEX (project related) allocation is managed diligently in collaboration with Postbank Finance department to ensure correct funding at the correct time in accordance with procurement agreements and PMO objectives. • Support management in developing and managing governance related activities such as tracking and measuring Postbank Portfolio / Program / Project / Investment results. • Package; communicate and report regularly on Portfolio / Program / Project / Investment performance. • Ensure project governance, documentation and criterions are adhered to as per the SOP and policies Minimum Requirements, Job requirements, Skills & Attributes Contacts Minimum Requirements Qualifications • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Project / Program / Portfolio Management / Business Administration / Office Administration / IT or relevant field • A degree linked to the above will be an advantage Experience • 3-5 years’ experience in corporate development and/or portfolio / program / project management, strategic planning, general management, new business opportunity evaluation in a business/banking environment. Knowledge • Good understanding of financial planning and management principles • Sufficient knowledge of business support in portfolio / program / project management / business planning • Sound knowledge of business principles, concepts and governance, MTEF, PFMA • Knowledge of corporate communication protocols and reporting • Working knowledge of statutes, rules and regulations • Knowledge of staff and resource management Skills and Attributes • Analytical Thinking, Business Acumen, Business Intelligence/Organisational awareness, Adaptability to change, Communication: Oral and Written, Learning Agility, Initiative, creativity and Innovation, Customer and Client Orientation, Critical Thinking, Relationship Building, Decision Making, Resilience, Knowledge Management.
