Due to the success and expansion of the M Group Services Telecom Division we have an opportunity for an Emerging Talent Manager to join our Talent Acquisition team. Reporting into the Divisional HR Director, and working alongside established recruitment professionals, you would work closely with hiring managers and colleagues across the four divisional companies to provide early career expertise.

Working flexibly, with a local base office, you will take ownership for facilitating an ambitious Divisional apprentice and graduate programme.

The Telecom Divisionprovide a full end-to-end service offering to fixed, private and mobile operators covering all aspects of a network lifecycle, focused on the design, build and maintenance of telecom infrastructure for key clients and is made up of four companies: Morrison Telecom Services, Magdalene, Avonline Networks and Waldon Telecom.

What will you be doing?

As our Emerging Talent Manager you will act as the Divisional SME on emerging talent programmes.

The role involves managing the emerging talent activity of our companies, liaising with the National Emerging Talent Team and building a pipeline of future talent opportunities.Your focus will be on apprenticeships, graduate programmes and early career outreach.

To be successful

You will ideally have a background managing apprentices and graduates, ideally in large organisations.

Youre a self-starter with great project management skills, able to identify and prioritise work streams.We are looking for a problem-solver with an eagle eye for detail. Youll consistently achieve a high standard across everything you do to provide support to the business early career needs.

Youll partner closely with key stakeholders in the business to influence, coach and facilitate a best in class process which always aligns to our values.

What will your key responsibilities be?

Create, implement and project-manage an ambitious apprentice and graduate programme for the Division.

Liaise and deconflict with Group and Divisional colleagues to ensure a coherent and consistent approach is maintained.

Support assessment centres and other recruitment initiatives to bring in early careers talent.

Upskill and provide support to their line managers on their role and responsibilities specific to managing Apprentices/Graduates

To act as the point of contact and liaison with the apprentices, their line managers and the college/Learning Providers.

Support the apprentices to achieve their End Point Assessments and with functional skills development.
