Meet the Finance team
Our Finance team comprises of 9 individuals who support across the whole firm. The team support with accounting and maintaining an accurate record of the monetary transactions related to the firm.
The firm has recently merged with Amp and a result of this, our clients now have access to more than 900 experts across the group. These include new service areas such as planning, cyber security, data protection and risk management, to name a few.
The opportunity
This is an exceptional opportunity for an Assistant Accounts Technician to join our Finance team. Ideally you will have the ability to work independently and proven experience of being highly numerate and the ability to resolve complex queries and issues. It is envisaged that this will be a full-time role but we are always willing to consider different working patterns.
Your key duties will be
Monitoring the client account for funds received and posting to the correct ledger
All aspects of completions, checking, inputting and sending payments
Reviewing transaction requisitions for payments out: checking for errors / incorrect procedure
Completing client to office / client to client transfers
Reviewing bills submitted on the billing hub: approving, rejecting or editing when needed
Skills and experience you will have:
High degree of knowledge of relevant accounting areas, SRA Accounts Rules, Quality Standard requirements and the firms procedures
A positive and friendly manner in dealing with clients, referrers and colleagues
High standard of interpersonal and communication skills
