Senior Business Analyst - Front Office

We are working with a leading Investment Management client in London that that is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a genuine passion for technology to work in their Trading Platform Team.

The ideal Business Analyst would have worked on Order Management Systems and have an excellent understanding of Front Office. The Business Analyst will be joining a large and complex Order Management System refresh (Charles River) and be tasked with understanding existing functionality, ascertaining requirements, defining target operating models, supporting the development process and gaining business acceptance.

This role is offering a base of £110,000 base + a strong bonus and additional benefits.

To be considered for this role you will need some of the following:

  • 5+ years working as a Business Analyst.
  • Previous experience at a buy side asset management.
  • Previous experience in a multi-asset environment.
  • Previous experience of order and execution management lifecycle or front office systems.
  • Knowledge of Charles River would be advantageous.
  • Strong delivery focused approach, ensuring business value is being met.
  • Excellent problem solving, business analysis and communication skills. Should be able to present a point concisely and deal positively with conflicting views.
  • Experience working with developers and operating within the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: able to establish and maintain a close working relationship with traders, fund managers and technology people alike. Must be able to communicate with senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure clear, concise, and professional communication.
