Hybrid Role - 2 days per week office based
A Global Comms Content and Editorial lead responsible for the development, execution and delivery of editorial content to internal and external stakeholders.
Key areas of work
Content Strategy
- Develop a global content strategy that strengthens reputation internally and externally.
- Improve efficiency of global content processes and projects
- Map and drive content strategy and annual content planning, working alongside Global Communication Managers.
Communication content editorial
- Proactively story mining, generating new ideas and developing compelling narratives.
- Identify and develop relevant editorial themes based on priorities and relevant external topics.
- Key member of the sustainability reporting team and additional corporate reporting
Internal Communications
- Support with content requirements to drive engagement and embed philosophy
- Support Employer branding content and messaging with internal stakeholders
Channel management
- Support team members in developing and strengthening channels.
- Manage master editorial calendar supported by Global Communication Managers that builds an eco-system of campaigns, leadership communications and business information.
Digital Publishing Solutions
- Close collaboration with marketing creative services regarding application of appropriate and effective publishing solutions.
Skills and Knowledge
- Circa 10 years of experience in a content or editorial team within a Marketing or Communications function within a global multi-cultural business.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject i.e. Communications, Journalism, English or Marketing
- Demonstrable and relevant digital experience
- Excels at project management
- Demonstrable experience of developing content strategy and ability to lead editorial campaigns
- Excellent eye for detail
- Balances creative thinking with need to be strategically minded
- Ability to work in fast paced environment, going above and beyond to deliver results.
- Knowledge of multiple media communication channels and associated technologies.
- Experience with using CMS
