Instructional Designer

A brilliant opportunity for an experienced Instructional Designer to join a well-established business as they are in the process of launching their new commercial learning offering for their clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of engaging digital learning solutions for clients worldwide.

This is a hybrid role with travel into the office in Gloucestershire twice a month.

Responsibilities

Work closely with subject matter experts to define learning needs and identify the most suitable delivery format

Utilise instructional design methodology to design eLearning and digital learning assets which offer an excellent user experience through a range of creative technologies

Produce storyboards and scripts

Project manage the development and build of the eLearning content

Select and implement an appropriate authoring tool to ensure high quality learning content is produced, e.g., Articulate Storyline

Consider data analytics to make improvements and ensure engagement by users

Skills

Excellent understanding of the latest instructional design methodologies and learning technologies available

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence

Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and PowerPoint

Good attention to detail

Education requirements

Educated to degree level is desirable

Instructional Design related qualifications are desirable

Experience requirements

A minimum of 3 years experience in the design of digital learning solutions

Experience of using authoring tools to develop engaging eLearning content, such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate

Experience in applying recognised learning methodology and approaches when creating digital learning
