Due to growth, we are now recruiting for a Client Accountant to join the team within our London office.
Key responsibilities
Joining our Client Accounting team of three, to deliver an efficient and effective service to Regents Clients (Landlords), Tenants, Contractors and Staff:
Ensuring monies are received, statements are raised and invoice reconciliation is undertaken in a timely manner.
Provide consultative support to Landlords and Tenants on all finance related matters.
Maintaining client management system (MRI Qube/Aspasia) to ensure all records are accessible and up to date
Process all payments via BACS/International payments in a timely manner to ensure client expectations are met.
Reporting directly to the Head of Client Accounts
Duties will include:
Chase debtors & identifying unallocated funds
Sending regular rent arrears reporting & chasing daily in line with Company processes
Paying contractor invoices within 30 days in line with our contractor service level agreement & to report on contractor commissions
Verification of new deals.
Ensure deposits are protected according to legislation.
Overseeing daily reconciliation of the client account and other bank accounts as necessary.
Preparation of NRL returns and reports.
The ideal candidate will have:
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a residential client accounts department
Experience in using Qube SLM (Aspasia) would be highly advantageous
A good understanding of the residential property market
High IT literacy & attention to detail
Qualifications: AAT Level 3 qualified (or similar business/finance qualification)
