Job Title Sales & Marketing Manager – Wedding & Events Venue

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 + Commission

Location: South West London

We are working with a stunning riverside venue in South West London who host an array of events from spectacular weddings to conferences with a difference. We are looking for an experienced sales and marketing manager to head up the team, capable of leading the team to achieve and succeed sales targets. You will be responsible for creating the strategy, coming up with creative ideas and promotions to market the venue and drive awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the sales and marketing strategy
  • Recruit, train and develop the sales and marketing team
  • Guide the strategy for the online presence of the venue
  • Prepare and present sales reports
  • Forecasting and budget planning
  • Meet with key clients to ensure relationships and maintained and nurtured
  • Identify new opportunities to drive venue awareness
  • Proactively reaching out to new potential clients
  • Assisting with delivery of marketing campaigns for each event using multiple channels including webpage content, email marketing, social media and PR

Skills and Experience:

  • A proven track record leading sales teams and creating B2C Sales & Marketing Campaigns
  • Experience within hospitality is essential
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Customer relationship management
  • A creative thinker
  • Strong organisational skills and detail orientated
  • Experience managing, guiding and motivating a team
