Account Manager

If you are an experienced account manager who is self-motivated with a positive work ethic, we want to hear from you! Denholm currently have an excellent opportunity with one of our clients, a contract hire and fleet management specialist, who are looking to recruit a Key Account Manager.
You'll play an essential role in creating and maintaining trusted relationships with key clients, ensuring all client requirements are met, expectations are exceeded and agreed profitability is returned.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • With direct support from the Sales Manager you will be dealing with existing and new clients so you'll need to quickly understand different businesses, structure and the people you will be dealing with
  • Regularly review what your clients need and make sure they understand our full offering
  • Prepare regular reviews and manage upcoming contracts and replacements
  • Ensure account information is up to date and that you are leading the future strategy on every account
  • Communicate client needs and demands clearly to the rest of the business (be the link between key clients and internal teams)
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing customers
  • Expertly manage expectations, both internally and externally, to ensure complete customer satisfaction and retention
  • Develop account-based strategies to maximise potential profit effectively and efficiently
  • Ensure clients responses are accurate and within agreed timescales

Key skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Outstanding communication skills and proven experience developing trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Resilient and results driven
  • Confident dealing with conflict resolution, maintaining trust and negotiating contracts to close
  • Strong business and finance acumen
  • Experience managing CRM data through Salesforce or similar CRM technology to manage accounts (managing/reporting on dashboards and pre-defined reports)
  • Experience dealing with high-level stakeholders across a variety of industries
  • Able to work to pre-agreed timelines whilst meeting/exceeding pre-agreed KPI's
