Workplace Manager


Proposed Job Description

As our company continues to grow, Egnyte is creating a Workplace Experience Manager to support our employees in India. We are looking for an Workplace Manager to join our team. For now, the position is work from home, but if the site opens an office in the area, this position would require frequent work in the office.




What You’ll Do (but is not limited to)
Be the “face of the workplace experience team" for our employees in India
Will be the local culture ambassador to help bring alive Egnyte's employee culture
Responsible for some employee communications
Arrange events and meetings for teams and visitors in India (travel will be required when necessary to support the event or gathering in-person)
Assist in onboarding and off-boarding process of employees
Occasionally support the HR team with tasks
Partner with IT, Workplace Experience and HR globally on policies and procedures
Support in shipments
Track invoices and expenses, along with managing the overall experience budget
Possibly coordinate travel for team members and visitors
Additional tasks assigned on an as needed basis
If an office or hub location is opened, this person would also be responsible for managing the office from a facilities management perspective



Your Qualifications
Good interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor
Solid critical thinking skills and troubleshooting ability
Motivated with the ability to work under little direct supervision
Ability to represent HR and Workplace Experience professionally at all times
Experience with standard business suite tools, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must
Ability to multitask
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
The candidate selected for this role must be very comfortable with change, while embracing occasional chaos
Previous experience with supporting employee experience and engagement is a must, preference to someone who has worked with IT companies in the past
Bachelor’s degree preferred
