Ops Excellence Leader
Role: Ops Excellence Leader
Reporting: Head of Ops Excellence
The position will lead one of the Operations Excellence function for the organization globally. Key driver for operations excellence implementation - includes enterprise level processes, strategy development, strategy implementation, customer focus, measurement, analysis and improvement of organizational performance, knowledge management, information technology and operations
Overseeing the ongoing management of operations excellence function for one of the verticals consisting of transition management, performance metrics management, portfolio / program management and knowledge management to ensure consistent quality of deliverables
Managing overall operations for one of the verticals, executing implementation projects involving scoping, planning, requirement & gap analysis including interfacing needs, resource mobilization, etc.
Identifying & developing potential migration framework in line with the guidelines for improving operational efficiencies
Driving best in class certifications
Performing efficient program management by tracking projects with respect to time & cost over-runs and value realization to ensure timely execution of projects within the budget
Driving compliance to client contractual & regulatory requirements
Ensuring that best practices and lessons learned are documented and shared appropriately across delivery teams and other functional units
Assuring effective project control & IT governance is established / maintained through appropriate frameworks, templates, procedures, etc.
Ascertaining timely and effective communication and working cross-functionally with various business stakeholders
Driving improvement of the overall change process, procedures and methods by identifying opportunities for improvement in project methods and supporting tools and process
Desired Skills and Experience:
IT professional with 15+ years of experience in Technology Services domain, strong understanding of the infrastructure services and performed strategic leadership roles
Experience of working with customers of Fortune 500 companies, across various verticals
Sound knowledge of Six Sigma & Lean Tools, and Expertise in data analysis using advanced Statistical and Analytics soft ware
Strong Analytical/Problem solving skills
Strong Communication skills and ability to confidently communicate a point of view
Well versed with the industry dynamics and knowledgeable about emerging trends
Strong experience in team management and people development.
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering. A post graduate qualification in Management will be an added advantage.
