Product Owner - Business Analysis and AWS

As a Product Owner, you will help us to elaborate and drive the business and technical requirements and outcomes that support the Customer Master Strategy

You will ensure that the Backlog is aligned to Customer Masters strategy and assist the Chief Product Owner and the squads to deliver the outcomes through Agile methodology.

You will be able to drive provide analytical skills and critical thinking to Customer Master outcomes you are able to elaborate the Customer Master tech strategy to meaningful business outcomes. You manage relationships across the organisation, including supporting projects and programs with consulting analysis and design thinking.

You are responsible for what is being delivered and ensure that the solution meets the needs of your requirements you will bring a mix of technical & business analytical skills, a passion for Customers and Bankers, and an open mindset.

You will be expected to take a leadership role and drive out the realization of our Backlog (Business Outcomes) and work with the engineer squads to deliver these.

Role & Responsibilities.
Working with Chief Product Owner, Head Of, solution/service architects to define requirements into a groomed backlog
Leading workshops in gap analysis and requirements gathering including technical vertical integration
Understanding of On Cloud and On Prem technologies
Wholly responsible for leading and driving definition of the Features
Hold Inception Workshops
Attend Progressive Elaboration Sessions
Define Epics and Features
Gather Requirements acceptance criteria, definition of done
Assist squads with the SDLC including Acceptance of Defects
Understand Enterprise Business Impacts
Raise risks and issues associated with Requirements and Design
Comfortable working at both a strategic and detailed level i.e. conceptually and at a practical level
Assist Solution Design with que
Consulting to other projects and programs
Assist with Gap Analysis
Identify impacts to Customer Master Assets
Identify risks and issues associated with the change
Accept the Feature
Provide support to delivery squads
Contribute to, and oversee the development of the detailed design against the Outcome build

Key Deliverables
Inception Requirements gathering, gap analysis & workshops, produce lean canvas, assess trade offs
Analysis & Design Conversion of requirements into tangible outcomes, produce a backlog, review designs and ensure they meet requirements (Definition of Done), approve and accept proposed solution
Delivery assess test cases against requirements, assist build team with defects, accept the solution, Business approval, (change management, at times)
Backlog Grooming groom and prioritise backlog
Showcase showcase delivered functionality

It is expected that the role holder will most likely have the following qualifications and experience
5+ years financial services experience (technical experience within financial services preferable)
Ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues to business stakeholders
Highly developed communication and influencing skills
Exposure to Human Centred Design and design thinking
Project management and Delivery experience
Tertiary Qualification (Banking & Finance, Business, Economics)
