Job Description :
The cross market team of Amazon (XCM) is looking for a talented Integrated Marketing & Communication Manager and Thinker to be part of our Advertising and Creative services team, D1 based in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will provide customer solutions through conceptualization of unique ideas that encompasses omni touch points (except TV). The role will work in close partnership with creative directors and marketing teams. You will produce innovative digital and omni channel solutions for user centered experiences spanning within and beyond Amazon channels. You are a natural idea generator with a profound understanding of digital, content, social media and technology.
You should be a seasoned digital expert who enjoys the dynamic ecosystem of new media and have the vision and ability to integrate the two key streams of social/digital - creative and media.
You will ensure briefs from brand team are strong and insightful, keeping them honest and sharp in their requirements and funnel the vision to the creative teams as the first building block to creation. When required, collaborating with cross-functional teams (brand, media, research, category) to deep dive into consumer understanding, evaluate creative with a brand and media lens, track the success metrics along with the creative team and influence the shape of the creative assets
Key job responsibilities
. Lead innovation and agency partnership development
. Be responsible for driving marcom workflow to deliver creative ideas and tactical executional excellence
. Manage a collaborative creative process manage creative resources across the calendar
. Collaborate in the development of the communication strategy by partnering with key internal stakeholders
. Be responsible for big creative ideas and tactical executional excellence
. Brief and organize cross-discipline to create campaigns that pack a punch
. Develop and evolve the process keeping the RACI and the understanding of the process single threaded, clear and tight. Be the north star on adoption and earning trust in the process a collaborative process whereby no creative gets developed without first securing Marketing Communications participation and input
. Social listening and trend tracking: Uncover trends in social and tech, data and insights
. Communication and marketing plan development
. Understand customer behavious, insights underlying reasons why consumers act and believe as they do on platforms and/in relation to our brands
Basic Qualifications :
. Minimum of 12 years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, content creation or creative production, with a strong brand planning and account management experience, demonstrating the depth and complexity of the projects managed. Experience in setting up new team and capabilities.
. Strong brand understanding and integrated thinking on communication.
. Expert understanding of project management methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage program risk and allocates lean resources effectively.
. A growth and problem solving mindset. Experience in creating and deploying processes and methodologies. Developing tools and playbooks for improving creativity and efficiency.
. Ability to manage and report on multiple projects within tight timelines with proven leadership skill and strong analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume, start-up environment. Proven ability to think clearly in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
. Senior Client Servicing/Account management within Digital/Advertising/Marketing agencies/companies is preferred.
. Expert understanding of brand planning and campaign development
. Experience in strategic planning mindset would be an added advantage
. Demonstrated ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume, start-up environment (Digital and Interactive experience is a huge plus).
