Sustain Business Lead
Location: Block G&H (Tulip), 8th Floor, Embassy Tech Village, Sarjapura Outer Ring Road, Devarabeesanahalli, Bangalore, Karnataka,560103, India.
The role of a Sustain business lead is a high visibility role across OTIS with exposure to Finance Controller. The prospective career path for this position would be to in one of the leadership positions in a Finance Tower at OGSC managing sizable team or if he/she has inclination, move to the IT organization as a leader for global ERP business systems.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Become the Subject Matter Expert of a module within JD Edwards and how it is used globally.
Maintain power user lists by site, Drive engagement meetings/discussions, Use tools to communicate upcoming changes
Provide support for business questions escalated from the JDE help desk.
Communicate known issues/solutions to sites as needed.
Help troubleshoot issues using knowledge of the business process and system functionality
Be a proponent of the ERP system and encourage end users to remain positive while pain points or issues are being addressed
Independently address non-technical issues raised by the end users and drive escalation with the central Business and Technical teams as needed
Demo new functionality to local sites and communicate upcoming functionality
Global Enhancements - Leverage relationships with local power users to help coordinate site UAT/rollout when appropriate. Maintain knowledge of where specific functionality is implemented.
Local Enhancement - Provide consultant to local business users as they create business cases for local enhancements.
Continuous Improvement - Propose and initiate improvements with CORE Team/WHQ using knowledge of system and top pain points at the sites.
Training - Maintain UPK Scripts, define standards for how local sites maintain local work instructions
Testing - Maintain global test scripts and partner with automated test team
Strong Communication Skills - Be able to communicate across global teams through all communication mediums, ability to hear what is not said, ability to translate business process issues or pain points into actual issue statements
Strong teaching skills - Must be able to guide and train end users. Anticipate pain points or issues.
Enthusiastic Continuous Learning - quickly become an expert on the business processes and how it is managed in the system, find new ways to reduce end user pain points
Customer Service - Maintain a positive relationship with powers users of local sites
Ability to communicate well to all levels of employees
Ability to achieve results in a dynamic and demanding environment
Demonstrate the highest ethical standards
10+ years of experience in the domain supporting Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / General Ledger / Job Cost & Contract Billing / Purchase Order / Service Inventory / Service Management.
Minimum 5 years of relevant business support experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
Experience participating in a JDE deployment with an understanding of the underlying system and how it supports the business process
Experience in interfacing with business and knowledge of accounting information and accounting service requirements ( for Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / General Ledger / Job Cost & Contract Billing)
Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience working on complex international projects with a diverse global team
