Finance Manager

Role Purpose

This position will be responsible for managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. The scope includes audits, invoices and budget preparations.

He/she will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures.

Role Accountabilities
Oversee various accounting operations
Manage Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions
Support month-end and year-end close process
Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting
Manage the budgeting and forecasting
Produce financial statements as requested
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Manage and comply with local, state, and central government reporting requirements and tax filings
Keep abreast of all relevant local financial and statutory regulations impacting Accounts Payable, Banking and Cash management, and ensure Company compliance with those regulations.
Provide guidance and oversight to the GST and TDS tax functions. Establish systems, processes and procedures to collect and record data required for internal and external financial reporting.
Maintain a strong system of internal controls which will ensure the safeguarding of assets, compliance with regulatory agency requirements, and the integrity and objectivity of financial reporting, in alignment with the policies of the internal control team.
Handle the compliances of Direct and Indirect Taxation.
Develop and adhere to policies and procedures
Understand and evaluate new/adhoc MIS requirements diligently and ensuring delivery; prepare management dashboards and reporting deck
Interacting with function units, explaining the variances monthly, sorting out the queries and ensuring forecasting accuracy
Validation and accuracy of monthly cost / provision across line items
Support implementation of ERP software as required

Make every effort to attend any relevant training, simulations and or meetings relating to Crisis Management
Perform your role as best as possible in a calm and collaborative manner in line with the relevant policy and procedures in the event of a Crisis
Provide input and feedback towards the ongoing improvement of the Crisis Management framework and procedure.

Key Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/ICWA. Master’s or Post Graduate Degree- Desired
10 to 12 years of experience. At least 5 years’ experience in leading Accounts Payable and strong knowledge of the Procure to Pay process (P2P)
Experience in Taxation (Direct & Indirect)
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff.
Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
Candidate should have sound knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
