Business Development Manager

We are a 4-year-old Software Consulting Firm Based out of Bangalore -- building cloud-native software applications for businesses in different industries and geographies.

28 strong at this point, we are on a good growth trajectory and are looking for growth-hungry folks to join our small sales and business development team.

You will be the second employee to join the sales and BD team and depending on your work outcome, you will have a clear shot at becoming a leader in the company as we grow into a larger company.

What's a good fit for us -

You are very effective at communication - you are fluent in spoken + written English and value brevity.
You have at least 2 years of experience in services selling services like software development with a track record of meeting pre-set revenue quota.
You understand how web and mobile applications work on a high level -- the role of front-end and backend engineering in software development and have some basic understanding of cloud services like AWS, GCP, etc.
You are very good at identifying high ticket partnership and sales opportunities, crafting a custom pitch for the prospect and pursuing such opportunities via email, call or in-person meetings.
You are good at building and maintaining relationships with clients and keep a lookout for up-sell and account mining opportunities.
You are very committed to maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, documenting lead status and communications on the Sales CRM software and understand the importance of consistency in keeping a wide top of the funnel for effective sales outcomes.
You are not lazy - have a thick skin for facing rejections - and understand sales is a numbers game and you need to be consistent to win it.

Not required but Bonus points if you -

Are a software engineer very interested in software consulting sales.
Understand software architecture.
