Administrative Assistant


Resource Planners is an operational planning role and will ensure that the workforce is planned efficiently and effectively in order to optimize use of operations manpower through careful planning and organization to achieve or even exceed the service level.


  • Handling of new, change and cancel bookings through Dispatch Tool System, and maintain data accuracy on the system
  • Allocating/assigning staff to existing bookings coming through to the Dispatch Tool system
  • Responsible for arranging of operational shift staff and assigning job duties to the staff, according to the demands on the service and to attain the optimum use of the resources available
  • Create, alter and update roster in order to provide the best manpower planning with the allocation of staff annual leave and the recording of staff sickness
  • Uploading the semi-manual roster during the initial phase and eventually optimizing the use of the Intelligent Rostering system through adding as much info into it and rules to make it more intelligent.
  • Work closely with Engagement Centre to align with the guest information and booking details in order to meet guests’ expectations and deliver high quality of service
  • Prepare operation reports and analysis to PPG / Care by BLR and BIAL management team
  • Deal politely, efficiently and act with professionalism with callers (internal and external) by phone if necessary
  • Carry out any other reasonable and appropriate duties as may be allocated by members of Senior Managers


· To have minimum qualification of diploma/graduation (Preferably from Hospitality or aviation background)

· Preferable to have manpower/resource planning experience previously having done rosters for large operations.

· Excellent IT skills (ability to use word and excel to intermediate level) with proven ability to understand complex, bespoke technology and produce / understand management information

· Mature, proactive, service-oriented and attentive to details

· Strong analytical skills and strategic management would be an advantage

· Self-motivated, confident, honest and flexible, with a professional work ethic

· Excellent problem-solving, multitasking skills and effective decision making

· Be flexible and adaptable to change

· Languages: Excellent English (must), Hindi, Kannada, other language(s) is a plus

· Shift duty is required and willing to work on weekend and declared public holiday(s)
