● Develop and implement a communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation.
● Stay on top of key events/announcements happening specifically around real estate sector
● Keeping a close eye and curbing virality of any negative escalation/news against brand name/assets across web.
● Facilitate the resolution of disputes with external role-players
● Work with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with Nestaway’s strategy and in support of various brand initiatives
● Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company’s policies, principles, and strategies, and keep up-to-date with relevant developments
● Draft press releases, pitches, case studies, white papers, and media summaries
● Build relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts
● Manage media requests in a timely and professional manner
● Pitch story ideas and content to media
● Ensure all communication is cohesive with Nestaway’s brand image
● Track and analyze media coverage to inform future campaigns
● Measure PR program impacts using regular reporting
● Organize, schedule, and prepare key leaders for press interviews
● Coordinate with external agencies and ensure smooth flow of work
● Expertise in making short form videos like reels, shorts etc
● Managing internal communication mailers
● Coordinating with agencies for quotations and creating decks
Qualifications & Skills required
● BSc/BA in PR, communications, journalism or relevant field
● 3-4 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications
● Excellent organization skills
● Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
● Strong working knowledge of a variety of public relations programs
● Strong oral and written communication skills
● Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software, canva, photoshop is an asset
● Proven ability to develop, implement, and execute successful public relations campaigns preferably in real estate sector
● Familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Youtube etc.)
● Aptitude in presentation and public speaking
● Proficiency in English
