L&D Assistant /Generalist

This is a temp to possible permanent position


This position is an entry level role for a fast-paced global company. You’ll work in a fun, energetic, and collaborative team environment with a high-energy, hardworking and transparent team of HR professionals.

You’ll provide support for learning and development programs: scheduling, creating and updating the catalog of offerings, ensuring participants have all necessary materials and access to training, securing facilitators, following up after sessions with quizzes and surveys, and tracking overall compliance and attendance. This role will also work closely with program owners to carry out specific requirements and reporting related to the program curriculum. May also administer programs involving external certifications or degree programs.

This role works with an internal team, facilitators, and internal stakeholders to ensure necessary resources to execute the training and onboarding program.

  • Maintain schedule of training and leadership development programs across all portfolios
  • Track responses to all invites and send reminders as needed
  • Send surveys out following training sessions
  • Track requests and approvals for Coursera licenses and tuition assistance/external training
  • Assist with training needs assessments with HRBPs and Leaders
  • Ensure employees and leaders are up-to-date on information involving the Development programs.
  • Provide welcome materials to New joiners
  • Provide all new joiners with access to LinkedIn Learning
  • Respond to inquiries relating to Development programs

Job Qualifications:

<1 year experience in a similar role

Previous experience may have been in an internship in a Training-related, event planning, administration or similar type experience in a corporate environment

Proficiency with related software (Google Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills
  • Customer driven, team oriented and have a exceed customer expectations
  • Logical, problem solving, troubleshooting skills
  • Detail oriented, well-organized
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative individually
  • Must be able to take direction well but must be able to work with limited supervision.
  • Possess the ability to remain flexible and adaptable to change.
